If you feel like you’re in the middle of an important decision in your life, or you don’t have any direction or clarity, or you’re just so afraid of your future, you don’t know what’s going to happen and everything has been weird and strange lately, here’s a reminder for you, sent all the way from Heaven.

I walked into the Lent season with doubts, anxiety and many, many complaints. So, God gave me a reminder. This is a tiny Reminder, but it’s an important one because it’s so easy to forget as we go through life. And it’s not just a thing or two that keeps bothering us. There are so, so many things in life, constantly weighing us down. So many circumstances we have absolutely no control over.

What is the solution to all of this?

While I was busy whining about how busy and strange my life is, God, one day, in my prayer times led me to open the Bible and took me to the book of Sirach.

Sirach 38:24-30.

Now, the passage originally talks about different people and how passionate they are towards their jobs. There is the artisan, the potter, the ironsmith, etc. (I highly suggest you read this for yourself)

But when I read it that day, it meant something very different to me.

You see, the passage talks about how each of these people pour their heart and soul into what they’re doing or making. Be it a tiny pot or a painting, they’re so very engrossed and fully in love with that little piece that’s slowly coming to life.

And then God told me, “You are that masterpiece coming to life each day, and I am your artisan, potter and ironsmith.” He said, “I am working on every detail of your life, because you are my creation and I love what I am doing to you.”

God says, "You are that masterpiece coming to life each day, and I am your artisan, potter and ironsmith. I am working on every detail of your life, because you are my creation and I love what I am doing to you." Click To Tweet

And it hit me…

It’s not the author who wrote the book. It’s actually God trying to tell you that he’s working on you. He’s working on your business, on your job, on your wedding dress, on your future husband, your children, your face, your pimples and your dandruff, your sore throat and everything else in between.

God's working on you. He's working on your business, on your job, on your wedding dress, on your future husband, your children, your face, your pimples and your dandruff, your sore throat and everything else in between. Trust Him. Click To Tweet

Even as you’re reading this, God is working on some part of your wonderful life. Something you will be seeing very soon, if you look with the eyes of God’s hope and God’s love.

I’m an absolute perfectionist. I know how it feels to create a small photo, or a video. You can imagine how badly I want it to be perfect, very beautiful even in the details. I can’t help but pour my entire heart into that tiny thing I’m making. Because, I simply love it. It is mine.

And that’s exactly how God thinks of you and me.

We are special, so loved and cared for.

This is what God says to you:

I love you. You are mine. And that’s why I want to work on you- my masterpiece. I can see into the future and I can see exactly how this is going to turn out. It’s going to be the most wonderful thing ever. Will you trust me?

Are you willing to trust God with your life?

Bring to your mind one thing that is deeply bothering you at this time in your life and give it to God. He’s the designer of your life and he knows why it’s happening. Allow him to take his time and construct you into whatever he wants you to be.
